I was using two separate coffee makers on my counter taking up a lot of space. By combining into one unit, it saves space and it looks great. Both coffee makers make a great pot/cup of coffee. I gave it 4 stars for two reasons. First, the primary pot coffee maker has the water fill on the right side. Very inconvenient as you have to pour from an elevated position and it is very easy to spill the water as you are pouring. Secondly I noticed the single cup maker drips the coffee towards the front of the cup. This means you must move the cup forward (slightly over the front edge) so as to not splash the coffee onto the counter. These are just personal issues I have and it does not diminish the fact that this unit makes great coffee with both units.
