Kichler Downrod

The rod is obviously just a down rod. However, the Weathered Zinc color is beautiful!! I only gave it four stars because the powder coating or finish on the outside of the rod is really gritty and at first it looks like the rod is covered in dust until you realize it is the finish. So, the good thing is that when it is actually covered in dust you won't be able to tell; the bad thing is, it won't clean off easily. Any kind of cleaning cloth catches and sticks to the "gritty" finish. Final word of caution, the rod scratches VERY EASILY and when my electrician laid in it on its side to attach the fan, etc. it was covered in small chalk-like scratches (I assume from the wood floor or friction?) Thankfully we were able to cover them with CoverGirl Charcoal Gray brow/liner pencil.
