This NG heater is rated at 50,000 BTU and has a dual stage design with two heat settings which can be controlled using the two stage control switch required to operate the heater. Flip one switch for low setting, 36,500 BTU, and both switches for high, 50,000 BTU. It is designed to be used with either a central patio or remote control system (each sold separately). It also comes equipped with an electrical ignition system for convenience. This model requires a natural gas connection and a 24-volt electrical connection for operation.
