Shipped in two packages several days apart which delayed the installation. There was a 2x4 stuck inside the arm with no explanation of why. This was clarified via email; it's to give the box something to screw in to. So why did I give it 5 stars? The installation was a breeze, even using cement as an anchor for a treated 4x4 post. It's plastic but very sturdy and won't require maintenance. The assembly was amazingly easy but it took two of us to make it easy. My wife is ecstatic and the neighbors think it looks great. The hardest part was finding the right mailbox. We chose a plastic box because it's lightweight, very detailed design and much less expensive the equally designed metal boxes. Time will tell if it was the right decision on the box. Further, customer service was considerate and timely in answering my questions.

This item serves it’s purpose and is attractive at a distance but every speck of dirt that gets on it from the outdoors will not wash off! it’s cheap and flimsy. Mine had a lot of visible dings on it such as scrapes and smashed corners. It’s too much trouble to return so we just put it up. Not happy
