A little disappointed. We bought this mailbox 15 years ago and love it. Bought the same unit now for our new house and the basic box is now plastic. A good metal door and magnet but I was assuming it would be a metal box like my old one. Making it cheaper. Guess that is part of what is happening now with everything made in China. Like the old days of everything make in Japan was **** and now we make nothing in the USA.
