I love baking dishes from Portugual. They are always easy to clean, do not stain easily, and are very good products. Much better than those from France, must be the difference in the clay. I have several Casafina bakers and others from Portugual and they are the best.

United StatesVery Misleading Sizes
Great shipping time and my Mom loves the dish but this was a miss in all other respects. I have a similar one that she admired and so I sent this one as a Mother's Day gift. The size description is very misleading - it says 13.5 x 8.5 x 3 (which I thought - just shy of a 13 x 9 x 3) leading one to believe it is decent sized casserole dish. In reality, it is 8 x 10 ! All I can gather is that they included the length of the protruding handles. This should never be the case when describing a baking dish as one calculates what size or type of dish the bakeware could accommodate. This could never be a dish used for dinner parties of 8, lasagna, casserole, scalloped potatoes etc.... I need to figure out the true dimensions of the next size and then ask for assistance in making the swap (not in possession of the dish as it was a gift sent directly). Will update my review after the swap is remedied.
